The new SxS-1 memory cards have been developed to satisfy the needs of lower cost storage solution for the high definition (HD) video recording.
The SxS-1 memory cards have the same storage capacities as the previous SxS PRO memory cards, and the high performance and reliability features as well. Compared with the previous SxS PRO cards, the new SxS-1 cards can support less Read/Write cycles, which can be easily monitored with the new “Media Life Indicator” system of the Sony XDCAM-EX camcorders.
